day one Golan Heights

Leave hotel in Jerusalem at 8:00 and head north via Jordan Valley

Now we arrive at 10:30 for spectacular lookout over the Kinnerret from Kfar Haruv

From here we will visit the site of Tel Saki to hear about the heroic tank battles in the southern Golan in the Yom Kippur war

We,ll arrive from there at the Gamla National Park, here we will hike to the site of the ancient city of Gamla which fell after a fierce battle to the Romans in the Great revolt. Also we will visit the vulure preservation center and look out which is also at Gamla

From here we will travel to the capital of the Golan, to Katzrin for lunch.

From there we,ll go to the top of the extinct volcano Har bental for another lookout towards Syria

finally we,ll arrive at the settlement of Nimrod the highest village in Israel and get a spectacular view from there

we,ll sleep in Metulla on the first night

Day two the Galil panhandle and upper Galilee

we,ll start with a view of southern Lebanon from the Naftali mountain ridge

From there we,ll visit Tel Chai where Yosef Trumpeldore made is famous stand againt attacker and see the film which describes the history of the site and final battle

Then we will travel by the scenic route to Safed, we,ll have lunch there then visit the Synagogues, courtyards, and shops of the mystical city

From Safed we,ll ascend the Mt Meron for an hour hike at the summiit of the mountain

descending the mountain we will stop at the kever of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai

From there we will return to Jerusalem/Tel Aviv by way of the Via Maris- the Coastal Road.
